Bosh Branding- Code

This project has its basis in coding and creating and identity.. the concept for his work is based on a social code that needs to be interpreted visually. The identity needs to move away from the standardised image of a photography web/print deliverables.. whilst not jeopardising the photographs integrity. The initial stage of development needs to look at how codes are applied..  through out design.

This is an example of how a typeface can represent and symbol or code.. however it does have a slightly standardised feel to it.. something that the client does not want.

This is an interesting way of showing a genetic code... however i like the idea of using line and colour to represent the photographers identity.

\

shapes as codes?

use of type enables and interesting brand image. the letters look changeable something that could be interesting to explore..The idea of the code or type always changing.

Shapes as codes or images.

The lines used with in this typeface could be used to break up letter forms.. and create a strong visual identity.

over lapping colours create a different dimension to shapes.. create a code with in the overlapping colours?

The cutting of letter forms gives the idea of a broken identity that could applied to the identity of social coding..it moves away from the standard perception of identities.

Simple lines make a constant visual identity which suggests a sort of code.. morse code. or secret codes?

Where are codes seen? using a standard typeface to obvious?

numbers and lines.. creating to different meanings,.

The web site above is a good example of how the social norm can be inverted and still not jeopardise legibility. The background being inverted gives a nice visual image, however i am not sure if this could be applied to the current brand.. but the idea of pushing the boundires of design norms is appropriate when creating an identity for social codes or norms.
