Design Context Publication 3

The final book in the set of three was dedicated purely to the fine art yearbook for several reason.. Mainly due to the nature of the brief.. it was perhaps the brief i learnt the most from during the module as i has never really done a publication of this size before, therefore it required the most background information and contextualising.

Magenta was the colour scheme in this case. which visually create a high impact result.

This is perhaps my favourite page in the publication.. the cleanness of images portrays the context well. The information is taken from one of my favourite studios.

the boldest page in the publication.. the image size makes for an visually interesting page. The detail required for successful editorial work.. is highlighted on this page.

This page focuses on a high end print Finnish . something that i have learnt more about through the process of the brief..

The layout through out the brief again followed a set of four, which was derived from the restrictions set with in the fine art year book, which worked with four facets to each dps.. three images and a text. which was repeated several 48 times.

The page on the left is put in there due to the use of colour.. through out the fine art year book we only had one swatch colour that of magenta.. which effectively portrayed aspects of the publication. it highlights how the use of colour is of vital importance.
